Dragonwood Enterprises Ltd is a privately owned property management firm in operation for over 50 years. Headquartered in Vancouver, BC, Dragonwood operates properties in Canada and the United States.
Since its inception, the main focus has been on building relationships with our tenants and suppliers, this being the reason for which many of our tenants have chosen to stay with us for over 50 years. We pride ourselves in our quality of service and are dedicated to helping you find the right solution for your business requirements.
Our management team is the foundation of our company, bringing to the table years of property management experience. We provide clear strategic thinking in communications, finance and site development.
 Albert Givton Owner/Founder |
Founder of Dragonwood Enterprises Ltd, Mr. Givton was born in Cairo in the mid 1940’s, spending several years in the Middle East. He worked briefly in the film industry in the late 1960’s, arriving in Vancouver in 1973. Albert established his first company in 1974 and Dragonwood Enterprises in 1995.
Albert has written and published two books on wine and is a world renowned Wine Connoisseur. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling to wine regions in France, Italy and California. |

 Michael Givton Vice President & Legal Counsel |
Michael is an experienced lawyer who joined Dragonwood after ten years of private legal practice, specializing in real estate and business law. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Victoria and a law degree from UBC, and has been a member of the Law Society of British Columbia since 2001. As Vice President and legal counsel, Michael provides legal advice and assists in the management of the day-to-day business of Dragonwood.
In his spare time Michael enjoys riding his bike, reading, and spending time with his wife and four sons. |

 Orly Givton Chisholm Vice President, Communications & Finance |
Orly graduated from UBC with a Major in English Literature and a Minor in Theatre History. Orly has worked in the retail sector in various supervisory positions. She also worked at the University of Northern BC in Prince George for a short time, before moving back to Vancouver and joining her family’s business at Dragonwood. As VP of Communications and Finance, Orly is responsible for tenant relations as well as the company’s finances.
Orly has a strong appreciation for fashion, is an avid reader, and enjoys yoga. On her days off, she likes to spend time with her daughter and her two dogs. |

 Clayton Tomandl Site Superintendent |
Clayton has been a Journeyman Carpenter for over 18 years working on projects with Micron, PCL and Bird Construction. His experience expands to working throughout the United States and on the Mayan Temples and Atlantis Resort Projects at Paradise Island in the Bahamas. He’s also worked on the new residence of a former Vancouver Canuck!
When not at Dragonwood, Clayton enjoys working in his own woodworking shop, riding his bike and collecting old woodworking tools. |

 Shane Turner Carpenter Helper |
Shane has been in the construction industry for 6 years and is a second year Apprentice Carpenter.
In his spare time, Shane likes to play indoor soccer, go snowboarding and fishing. |

 Daisy Hernandez Office Manager |
Daisy comes from a background in marketing and design, graduating from BCIT and Emily Carr. Her experience ranges from working in small companies on corporate branding to large organizations on multifaceted website programs. As Office Manager, she’s responsible for the day-to-day administration at head office.
When not at work, Daisy enjoys experimenting in the kitchen creating healthy concoctions and waiting for summer. |
